Machinable and High-strength: Introducing Emery Low Lead Alloy

To help our customers who need to meet RoHS requirements, or those that simply want to switch to a low-lead material, we have introduced Emery Low Lead™ alloy, the culmination of a multi-year initiative by our R&D engineers.

INNOVATING NEW ADVANCED MATERIALS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO ENSURE THE SUCCESS OF OUR CUSTOMERS

With mechanical and electrical properties identical to those of our Alloy 25 and M25 alloy, Emery Low Lead material offers machinability in a low-lead chemistry (less than 1000 ppm) that does not sacrifice the strength or conductivity needed for demanding end-use applications. This alloy is ideal for reliable circular connectors, coaxial connectors and test probes.

Prior to introducing Emery Low Lead alloy, our team developed several low-lead alloy compositions and tested them in precision machining operations at machine shops and customers’ facilities. Emery Low Lead alloy performed and machined best in multiple machining set ups.
